SUMMARY:WIRV 2026 Mentoring Program
DESCRIPTION:WIRV recognises the important of mentoring\, particularly for junior women in the profession. The WIRV Mentoring Program provides an opportunity for WIRV members at any level to be paired with an experienced mentor within the industry. \nWIRV is inviting all members to register in the 2026 Mentoring Program. Members can register their interest to be a mentor\, a mentee or both. \nThe Mentoring Program provides opportunities for both mentors and mentees and can be tailored to what each member is hoping to achieve from the Program. \nTo participate in the program\, WIRV requires mentors and mentees to each complete a short questionnaire about the mentor/mentee’s position and objectives. Mentors and mentees are then paired together by the WIRV Advocacy Sub-committee prior to the program commencing. The mentors and mentees commit to a 12-month program running from February to December. \nA mentor provides many benefits\, including helping a mentee expand their network\, improve their professional skills and general guidance on how to navigate and progress their career. \nMentors can share their knowledge\, skills and experiences with a mentee and be rewarded and proud to know they are inspiring and developing the ‘leaders of tomorrow’. \nThe 2026 mentors and mentees will also receive an invitation to our exclusive mentoring mixer networking night\, which will take place in the first half of 2026. \nRegistration in the 2026 Mentoring Program is open to all WIRV members. \nTo register as a mentor\, please click here to sign up and complete the mentor Initial Questionnaire. \nTo register as a mentee\, please click here to sign up and complete the mentee Initial Questionnaire. \nRegistrations will close on Monday\, 19 January 2026 following which the Advocacy Sub-Committee will email participants to confirm the relevant pairings in late January 2026. \nPlease note that in order to participate in the Mentoring Program\, you must be a current WIRV member. \nIf you wish to sign up to be a member from now until 31 December 2026\, you can do so here. Membership is currently $88 (incl GST) if you sign up before 31 December 2025. A WIRV membership also entitles you to free attendance at our professional development briefings and discounted tickets to some of our events. \n
