Please join us on 18 August 2026 for our upcoming Professional Development Lunchtime Briefing featuring a presentation from Jacky Campbell, founding partner of Forte Family Lawyers.
The topic for the briefing is “Family Law and Bankruptcy: Key Legal Updates”, an update on recent changes to the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and case law developments which impact the rights of trustees and non-bankrupt spouses.
Jacky Campbell is a founding partner of Forte Family Lawyers and has practised as a lawyer specialising in family law for most of her 40 years in practice. She is recognised as a Leading Family Lawyer in Melbourne by Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Market. Since writing her Master’s thesis on the interaction between bankruptcy and family law, Jacky has maintained a strong interest in matters involving insolvency, liquidation and receivership. Jacky is the Consultant editor and contributing author (Property, Superannuation and Financial Agreements chapters) of Wolters Kluwer / CCH Australian Family Law and Practice
