In this briefing, you will hear from Marelda Hibberd, Partner of the Restructuring and Insolvency team at Maddocks, where she will provide a refresher on the basis and purpose of each type of appointment in respect of secured property, as well as some of the common issues that arise for appointers and practitioners when involved in receivership or mortgagee in possession appointments including dealing with counterparties and ipso facto implications, tax, and remuneration issues.
