On Thursday 8 August 2013, we hosted our Annual Mid-Year Cocktail Function at Alto in the GPO Building.Kindly sponsored by Effective Recoveries and Rothwell Lawyers, the Annual Mid-Year Cocktail Function provided the perfect opportunity for practitioners to network while enjoying some appetising food and beverages. Over 140 members and guests attended, with some of those lucky enough to win fantastic door prizes. A great night was had by all and we are looking forward to doing it again next year!

This year the IWIRC/ARITA Golf Day was held at the Commonwealth Golf Club in Oakleigh South. IWIRC hosted a golf clinic sponsored by Professional Collection Services.

On 27 March 2014 IWIRC (Vic) hosted a Summer BBQ at the Boatbuilders Yard in South Wharf.  It was a special night where we said thank you to Kate Savage from Hall Chadwick for her two year term as President and excitedly welcomed Renee Di Carlo from Jirsch Sutherland as our President for 2014/2015.  We also welcomed a number of new committee members in 2014/2015.  A special thanks to Blue Broking and Risk Strategies for sponsoring this event.

On 12 June 2014 wehosted a Trivia Night at the Royal Melbourne Hotel with QuizaaMe our fantastic quiz masters for the evening. Our annual Footy Finals Luncheon was held on Friday, 12 September 2014 at the Crown Palladium. The event was proudly sponsored by Hall Chadwick, GraysOnline, List A Barristers and Law Image.
