WIRV hosted another successful Virtual Drinks between 6 September 2021 to 16 September 2021. The Virtual Drinks are an informal networking workshop for members, which is held over Zoom in groups of approximately 5-6 people and facilitated by a member of the WIRV Networking Sub-Committee. Each session goes for approximately 45 minutes. Keep your eye out for future Virtual Drinks events.

WIRV Morning Webinar – Bankruptcy: A case study
Thank you to everyone that attended our morning webinar on Monday, 18 October 2021. We heard from Alice Ruhe, Partner of SMB Advisory, and Radhika Kanhai, Partner of Cornwalls, who presented a worked case study on the complexities of bankruptcy, with matters including constructive and resulting trusts, extension of caveat, the presumption of advancement, complex income assessments, public examinations, conduct review and dealing with other insolvency practitioners.
